Course Description
This is an introductory Project Management training course covering the essential skills required for effective Project Management. This course is based on the principles as outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge
Guide (PMBOK® Guide) to managing projects. (PMI® is the author and owner of the PMBOK® Guide titled “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge”). The guiding principles of the PMBOK® are as follows: Project Integration Management; Project Scope Management; Project Time Management; Project Cost Management; Project Quality Management; Project Human Resource Management; Project Communications Management; Project Risk Management; Project Procurement Management.

Who should attend?
This is an introductory course targeted at those who need to use Project Management in the workplace. The course aims to ensure that delegates will maximise their effectiveness in the management of everyday projects. If delegates wish to pursue the avenue of PMP® accreditation after completion of this course, then this course counts for 13 Professional Development Units (PDU’s). The PMI requires that 35 PDU’s are completed before candidates are eligible to take the PMP® examinations.

This course gives delegates a solid grounding of the principles of Project Management as outlined in the PMBOK® Guide. Should candidates wish to take the PMP® examinations then they should consider completing our PMP® Exam
