Course Description
Two of the most widely used Project Management methodologies are the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide (PMBOK® Guide) and the PRINCE2® methodology as defined by the Office of Government Commerce (UK). By integrating both methodologies, the course offers the very best of best practice in terms of project management processes and knowledge, to assure a scalable and rigorous approach to project delivery.
This project management course is based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) to managing projects and the PRINCE2® method. Where appropriate the PRINCE2 method is utilised and this is combined with aspects of the PMI® PMBOK® Guide processes and more specifically the guiding principles of the PMBOK, which are as follows: Project Integration Management; Project Scope Management; Project Time Management; Project Cost Management; Project Quality Management; Project Human Resource Management; Project
Communications Management; Project Risk Management; Project Procurement Management.

Pre-requisites
This course assumes no prior project management training, however experience in delivering projects or being involved in the delivery of projects will help with understanding.
