Course Description
Active Directory is a directory service created by Microsoft that uses a number of standardized protocols to provide a variety of network services including Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Domain Name System (DNS) based naming and other network information.
This course provides delegates with the knowledge and skills to configure Active Directory Domain Services in a distributed environment, implement Group Policies, perform backup and restore, and monitor and maintain Active Directory related issues.

On completion of this course, delegates will learn how to:
• Deploy Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services, Active Directory Certificate Services, Active Directory Federation Services and Active Directory Rights Management Services in a forest or a domain
• Efficiently administer and automate the administration of users, groups and computers
• Implement effective name resolution with DNS
• Plan, configure and support the replication of Active Directory within and between sites
• Add, remove, maintain and back up domain controllers
• Deploy Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services, Active Directory Certificate Services, Active Directory Federation Services and Active Directory Rights Management Services in a forest or a domain
