Certified ScrumMaster
Course Description
Scrum is an iterative incremental framework for managing complex work (such as new product development) commonly used with agile software development.
This is a course that employs practical exercises, case Studies and discussions to provide everything that a ScrumMaster needs to know to be able to drive a successful Scrum Project. Participants who complete the course
successfully will be designated Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and this is the first step to becoming a Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP). This Certification includes a one-year membership in the Scrum Alliance, where additional materials
and information is available exclusively to CSM’s.

During this course delegates will learn:
• Techniques for Vision Creation, the use of the Product Backlog, Backlog Formatting Techniques, Story Point Estimation, and how to use this to formulate a release plan
• How Sprint Backlogs (the lower level of planning in Scrum) can work
• How to coach their teams through planning and through the powerful inspect and adapt technique of retrospectives.
• How to report this information in a clear and simple format using Burndown Charts
• How to apply Scrum to an enterprise environment for scaling and distribution
